A total of 55 items of Woollen Hats and Scarves were donated today 6 February 2018, by EAWA to Thames Reach Spectrum Centre for Homeless people in Camden.
A registered partially blind lady knitted the majority of the items. She has, through much adversity, taken this as a challenge and knitted with great dedication.
Other ladies, who have many health problems and are over 80 years old, contributed hugely.
Our EAWA team therapist knitted for this donation too.
We want thank everyone mentioned for their motivation, courage and for giving so selflessly of their own time.
We hope that the hats and scarves help in this very cold weather, even though it’s only a small token to the overall problems faced by the homeless people in winter.
