Memorable Melodies (Bisri Yaadein) for People with Dementia
Old Hindi Songs as a Group Singing Activity
Instruments and some Movement Involved
Come and Sing your Heart Out!

The impact of music and songs on us all is wide ranging. For people with Dementia/Alzheimer’s it can bring back old memories (often memorable ones), of what formed a part of their life at the time they sang a particular song. Singing and music is proven to be therapeutic.

Our Aim is to provide a monthly singing /music session with people challenged by Dementia and their Carers/Family. We want to invoke good memories.

Starts Tuesday 31 January 2017 and every last Tuesday of the Month
at the Wheatsheaf Hall, Main Avenue, Bush Hill Park, EN1 1DS

Time 3.00pm to 4.30pm
Memorable Melodies Activity 3.00pm to 4.15pm
Carers/Family are invited to participate with Parent/Spouse etc.
No previous singing ability needed: it’s a trip down memory lane for those interested in Indian /Hindi Music
