Thames Reach Donation – Winter 2016

A team of EAWA Day care clients knitted hats and scarves for homeless people. These were donated to Thames Reach’s Spectrum Centre on 7th December 2016

Along with this a cheque of £392 was donated by EAWA for the purchase of new warm clothes etc. in preparation for winter.

Quote from an employee of Thames Reach:

I would like to reiterate how grateful Spectrum Centre is for your donation. Our guests will appreciate the warm and practical scarfs and hats, that were knitted from scratch and with love. It was such a pleasure to meet the wonderful members of your community, who put so much effort on this task. We have secured the cheque in our safe, the money, which you have raised and very gently donated to Spectrum. It will be used mindfully and according to Thames Reach standards. On behalf on my team and Thames Reach thank you very much.
