A new “social hub” for Enfield residents aged 50 and above is launching soon and the organisers are inviting people to join. EAWA has been awarded £5275.01 by the Co-op which will be used, along with other donations, to set up the Social Hub Project. EAWA wishes to thank the Co-op and its members for choosing to support EAWA in this worthy cause.
A lovely letter of thanks has been received from Crisis, in response to EAWA’s recent donation.
THe EAWA have delivered 20 pairs of hats and scarves, plus an additional 15 hats, knitted by Asha Ingles, to Crisis for distribution to homeless rough sleepers in London. All the wool was provided by Asha too. EAWA are very proud of Asha’s wish to make a difference.

A group from the EAWA Over 50’s Activity Club enjoyed a beautiful trip on the Pride of Lee Canal Boat on a glorious sunny day.
EAWA day care clients went on a 2.5 hour canal boat outing in a specially adapted wheelchair accessible carrier. They enjoyed beautiful sunshine, views and had a hearty lunch!
